Northview High School is a member of the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) and our competition is governed by its rules and regulations

Lacrosse is a spring sport. We have two teams: Varsity and Junior Varsity (JV).

Athletes must have appropriate insurance coverage. School insurance is available for purchase.

Try-outs for Girls Lacrosse are usually held in late January. When try-outs are complete, teams are established, players are notified and rosters are published.

Practices usually begin in late January/early February and are held after school, Monday through Friday. Practice lengths vary, but players need to plan on approximately 2 hours for each practice.

Competition begins in mid-February and runs through early May.
The Girls Lacrosse competition season consists of 18 Varsity Games and 13 Junior Varsity (JV) games. State playoff competition begins after the regular season ends and usually takes place in mid-May.

Our program is assisted by the Girls Lacrosse Booster Club. This is a group of parent volunteers who work to promote and support all activities of the Girl's Lacrosse Program and are vital to the success of our program.
