Kristen Jesse - Varsity Head Coach

Kristen Jesse is the new varsity lacrosse coach at Northview High School. As a new Georgia resident, she is excited to find a place in the lacrosse community. Coming from a soccer background, Kristen was excited to make the move to lacrosse. She grew up playing soccer as a kid, and played for James F. Byrnes High School in Spartanburg. She was a varsity captain her final year, but played varsity for four years.

After high school, Kristen went on to the University of South Carolina and majored in Elementary Education, then received her Masters in Special Education with a focus on severe and multiple disabilities. After college, Kristen began teaching in Columbia, SC at Muller Road Middle School where she was the soccer coach. She then moved to Myrtle Beach and taught high school for two years. This is where her love of lacrosse began. She was hired as the varsity girls lacrosse coach. Although she didn’t play, she quickly picked up the sport and over two years got the newly formed team to their first win, also making playoffs in their third year as a program.

After getting married in October 2016, the Jesses decided it was time to move back to their home, Georgia. Kristen accepted a position teaching at Northview, and quickly found herself in a coaching position. She is very excited for the upcoming season! You can reach her at
